Atlas of Functional Histology

This book features 600 color histology sections and 150 electron micrographs. Each figure has a caption outlining the structures and their function to the system or body as a whole. The book is organized by body system, each chapter beginning with an introduction of that system and its function. A test section asks one to differentiate between tissues of similar appearance. Detailed rationale helps one understand differences in function of similar looking tissue. This atlas will enable one to correctly identify histology sections and discuss structures in relation to body function.
