Bioinformatics position in antigen receptors research

The director of Central European Institute of Technology CEITEC MU opens a bioinformatics position in antigen receptors research.

We are looking for one highly motivated bioinformatician who is willing to dedicate him/herself in diverse research and development as part of a successful bioinformatics team (bat.infspire.org), currently embedded in the Medical Genomics Group, Centre for Molecular Medicine of CEITEC.

The team's main focus are antigen receptors in leukemias and lymphomas in the context of multiple European and international collaborations, in this case especially EuroClonality-NGS.

We will be looking for:

• candidates with BSc/MSc and/or PhD in any relevant science,
• excellent programming/bioinformatics skills (Perl is widely used in the team),
• applicable knowledge of statistics and/or the R language,
• experience in next-generation/high-throughput analyses.

Starting date    November/December 2013
