Description:
The Chamber of Veterinary Doctors of the Czech Republic was founded by the law 381 of the Czech National Council from 11 th September 1991. The Chamber activity is determined by the following rules: Rule of organization and procedure, Rule of Selection, Rule of profession, Rule of licensing and conditions fulfilment for veterinary curative and preventive activities, Rule of financial contributions and fees, Rule of disciplinary, Rule of veterinary doctors education, Inner regulations of animal identification, Inner regulations of drawing on the CVD funds, Inner regulation of the CVD employees wage ranking. The Chamber is a member of the Union of European Veterinary Practitioners (UEVP) which is a part of the European Veterinary Federation (FVE) having a status of an observer. FVE is a non-governmental organization, the advisory body within the European Union. Close contacts with British and French organizations are prerequisite for exchange of knowledge and research work between the West and the East (CEVEO).
