Project: | Development of a method for conformational mapping of the human genome regions of medical interest. GA302/98/P112 |

Research institute: | Institute of Biophysics, AS CR |
Description: | |
More than half of the known human genome is composed by simple and repeating motives, which differ from common DNA by their double helix instability and abbility to form alternative conformations. These conformations are probably due to elongation of microsatellites. The aim of this project is to develop method to DNA mapping in parts of human genome, which are interesting for medicine. |
