Genotyping Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a (senior) technical position in Transgenic Unit. You will be responsible for genotyping of transgenic mice, for developing new strategies of genotyping (primer designing, PCR optimization, probe designing), and for establishing different methods of DNA isolation. In addition, you will participate in the production of transgenic mice (mouse/mouse embryo handling, cell cultivations).

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must possess a university degree education in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology and experienced in molecular biology (PCR, primer designing, Southern blot). Those candidates who have knowledge in mouse/rat genetics and transgenic technologies are especially encouraged to apply. English communication skills are absolutely necessary.
