laboratorní technik/technička – histopatologie
Type of job: full-time
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- focus on technical work in histology and gross morphology on laboratory animal models; histochemical/fluorescent tissue and cell staining
- willing to learn and understand new methods and techniques
- willing to participate actively in team work
- shows strong work ethic and team communication
- education in relevant field (at least high school leaving diploma) required
- working knowledge of English
- work experience as a laboratory and/or histology technician is desirable
- experience with handling of biological material, fixed samples, histological samples, flammable and potentially dangerous substances; knowledge of the workflow in a pathology laboratory is welcome
- basic knowledge in microscopy is desirable
- experience in immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization is desirable but not mandatory
- experience with automated staining systems is welcome
Successful applicants will become part of an international team with dedicated and professional attitude. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art histology equipment. We offer interesting work topics, further self-education possibilities and competitive salary.
The place of work is Vestec u Prahy (former Exbio labs) and Praha (Institute of Molecular Genetics).
The position is available till 31st December 2015. Further extension of contract is negotiable.
