We are offering a position of Medical doctor within the research team focused on prevention of cardiovascular disease at the International Clinical Research Center of St. Anne´s University Hospital in Brno (FNUSA – ICRC). Project Kardiovize Brno 2030 is a health prevention scheme that aims to identify the actual health risks of Brno town citizens, and to minimize these, through prevention programs.

Job description:

• Supervising medical examinations of cardiovascular and anthropometric parameters conducted by nurses and trained staff, on a Brno population study
• Conducting interviews about life style with study participants – questionnaires
• Data analysis (preferred but not necessary)
• Preparing and writing publications (preferred but not necessary)

Qualification required:

• Doctor of Medicine, specialized in cardiology or preventive medicine or internal medicine

 Prerequisites for successful role performance:

• Strong interest for science and medicine (epidemiology, internal medicine)
• Team worker
• Excellent communication skills (Czech and English)
• Management skills
• Time flexibility, active approach, independence, reliability

We offer:

• Part time (50%)
• Fixed-term contract for 12 months- temporary
