Medical writer / researcher

We are offering a position of Medical doctor within the research team focused on prevention of cardiovascular disease at the International Clinical Research Center of St. Anne´s University Hospital in Brno (FNUSA – ICRC). Project Kardiovize Brno 2030 is a health prevention scheme that aims to identify the actual health risks of Brno town citizens, and to minimize these, through prevention programs.

Job description:

• Literature survey (preventive medicine, epidemiology, cardiovascular medicine)
• Data analysis
• Drafting manuscripts for publication in impacted international Journals
• Tight coordination with research team members for study design and implementation
• Contribution in preparing grants for funding applications

 Professional requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (in written and spoken)
• Previous publication record is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• Basic knowledge of statistical methods applied to biomedicine

 Prerequisites for successful role performance:

• Being curious and fast learner
• Strong drive for science and for medicine
• Team worker
• Outstanding writing skills
• Time flexibility, active approach, independence, reliability
• Excellent communication skills

We offer:

• Part time (50%)
• Fixed-term contract for 12 months- temporary
