The NetBioClue Project aims to promote
co-operation among key actors in different
clusters engaged in biotech for health with an
outward-looking approach. The project will identify
and share knowledge about good practices and
new opportunities for developing and managing
the growth of successful clusters.
The mobilisation of key actors in excellence
clusters at the European level and beyond will
ultimately enhance transnational learning and
global competitiveness.
The NetBioCluE Project will:
* provide bottom-up policy recommendations
for biotech cluster management,
development and innovation
* carry out joint initiatives for networking
biotech actors (e.g. matchmaking,
international Bio events, targeted seminars)
* foster the creation of transnational
megaclusters (e.g. joint ventures,
spin-offs, transnational collaborations)
* analyse the evolution of biotech clusters
to identify good practices suitable for each
stage of cluster development
* help biotech clusters evaluate the actions
necessary to achieve the critical mass for
successfull innovation in the global context
* Analysing existing biotech clusters and
their evolutionary dynamics
* Supporting biotech clusters in facing
continuous change in international markets
* Identifying and sharing good practices
in cluster innovation management
* Fostering international networking
opportunities for biotech companies,
research centres, science parks and
venture capital investors
* Providing continuous support to biotech
companies in their adaptation to the
fast-changing international market
