Open Position: Breeding Specialist

DESCRIPTION:

This is a technical position in Transgenic Unit. You will work with mice/rat database, be responsible for breeding and colony preservation of transgenic mice produced in TgU. As a member of transgenic unit of IMG you will be expected also to participate in the production of transgenic mice (mouse/mouse embryo handling, cell cultivations).

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should possess a university degree in biology/biochemistry/biotechnology, should have experienced in animal husbandry, and have knowledge in mouse/rat genetics and transgenic technologies. Those candidates who have practice in mouse/rat colony management are especially encouraged to apply. English communication skills are absolutely necessary.
