Requirements, experience:
- University degree in Chemistry or Sciences
- Experience in area of environmental analytical chemistry
- Experience in area of organic pollutant analysis and chromatographic systems
- Fluent in Czech, advanced level of written and oral English
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Good organizational skills
- Experience with management of bigger teams

Responsibilities:
- Full financial responsibility of Organic Department, budgeting process, all type of reporting and safety incidents
- Managing and on-going monitoring of all activities relating to operation of the laboratory; including staff resources, quality, safety, workflow and efficiency, equipment maintenance and efficiency, method development.
- Managing the staff, including having the appropriate level trained staff to perform workload, conduct performance evaluations of all direct reports, and manage holidays to minimize impact on section efficiency.
- Facilitate timely and effective communication at all levels within department/ laboratory; including generation of workload or project status updates as requested.
- Supports unified approach to ALS's business direction by supporting marketing efforts, policies, and cooperating with other department/laboratories, and locations.
- A high level of commitment to client needs, by providing timely feedback
