| Plant developmental and evolutionary genetics in Brno is now developed especially in two organization, the Institute of Biophysics AS and the Department of Genetics and Molecular biology, Masaryk University. The research activities are focused on the study of molecular mechanisms of developmental and evolutionary processes in plants with a theoretical and potentially applicable impact into biology of reproduction. Model organisms include Arabidopsis, Silene, Nicotiana and crops, Carica and Medicago. The aim of this project is to integrate efforts of both institutions in order to increase the quality of the PhD study program. |
