Planta publishes original articles and invited reviews in all aspects of plant biology, particularly in molecular and cell biology, structural biology, biochemistry, metabolism, growth, development and morphogenesis, ecological and environmental physiology, biotechnology, and plant-microorganism interactions. Preference is given to experimental articles and articles serving as the basis for experimental work.
