On 24th of January 2013 , in Lodz, Poland, several representatives of small and medium-sized innovative companies from Polish sector of biotechnology and life sciences initiated establishment of Polish Biotech Association – Association of small and medium-sized innovative enterprises (SMEs) from Life Sciences sector.
Creation of new, innovative products for the biotechnology or healthcare in current condition in Poland is characterized by a completely different specificity of business activities than in the case of e.g. generic drugs. The costs of implementation of innovative projects by SMEs are usually very high and first revenues come after few years. Therefore, the organization of the environment for innovative SMEs will allow the efficient presentation of their interests for representatives of state institutions...
