Job description:
The main aim of this position is to study molecular mechanism of DNA repair and its correlation with genomic instability associated diseases.
Contents of the work: The researcher will carry research on instability of the genome and cancer. In addition to numerous projects focusing on basic understanding of DSB repair process and its regulation the candidate can also specialize on characterization of small-molecule inhibitors and exploration of synthetic lethal interactions that influence the genome stability.
The laboratory has state of the art equipment for biochemistry, cell-biology and single-molecule analysis and is also directly linked to the hospital.

Prerequisites for successful role performance:
The successful candidate should be highly motivated, display initiative and independence, and have good verbal and written English communication skills
Professional requirements:
Candidates with significant experience in biochemistry, cell biology, mol. biology or single molecule techniques (AFM, SPR, or TIRF etc.) are preferred.
