Currently, we are involved in four research projects
These projects are funded by Czech Health Research Council and European Horizon 2020
Job Summary:
The position requires involvement into 2-3 projects and includes a range of experimental activities using human cells and tissues as well as the data analyses.
Requirements:
PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology or MD PhD
Research experience in one or more of the following areas: adipose tissue biology, inflammation, bioenergetics, glucose and lipid metabolism, and biochemistry.
Skills in cell culture and molecular biology, high level of responsibility necessary for work with unique clinical samples, solid skills in statistical analyses, ability to set up new methods.
Ability to work autonomously combined with a strong ability to work in a team.
Proficiency in Czech or English.
We offer:
Full-time job (40 hours per week) in Prague. Full health insurance coverage is a part of the fellowship. Five weeks (25 working days) of vacation.
Job offer for 7 months (until December 2021) with an expected extension until December 2024 (or longer) upon mutual satisfaction with the first months.
Work within a young and friendly team of researchers.
