A postdoctoral position is available immediately for a project focused on plant interactions with pathogens. We are engaged in mechanisms involved in manipulation of plants by fungal pathogens by pathogen secreted effector molecules. We are seeking a candidate having extensive background in molecular biology and biochemistry for a postdoctoral position.
Candidate is expected to have a corresponding university degree and should be experienced in bioinformatics, techniques of DNA analysis, proteomics, molecular cloning, gene silencing, transcription analysis.
Applicant should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively in team. Oral and written communication skills in English are necessary.
Responsibilities:
Review of applications will begin immediately and applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Salary offered follows the wage rate of the institute. Contract duration is for three to five years.
