Description:

• construction of rationally designed protein mutants creation of semi-rational libraries for directed evolution of proteins
• protein expression, purification and biochemical characterization
• presentation of results at conferences and workshops
• supervision of students and younger colleagues

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher for the Loschmidt Laboratories at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic focused on protein engineering and molecular mechanisms of enzymatic catalysis.

Candidate profile:

• Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology or related fields
• experience with protein biochemistry - expression, purification, biochemical assays
• well organized, responsible, self-motivated, creative and flexible attitude
• positive personality with sense for team-work
