We are looking for motivated persons to investigate regulation of the meiotic cell cycle. In our laboratory we aim to elucidate the molecular causes of the increased chromosomal aneuploidy rates in oocytes from women in the age over 35. The research is focused to
The Institute is well established in the study of physiology of the germ cells and PhD program will be conducted at Charles University in Prague or at University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague.
The candidates are with interest in the cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or related field. The successful candidates should be highly motivated; display initiative and independence.
In our research, we are using advanced techniques of cell and molecular biology, such as: microinjection of oocytes, confocal microscopy, protein kinase activities assays, live cell imaging, immunofluorescence, proteomics, molecular biology, etc.
