Prague Nobel Get-Together

This meeting is organized jointly by the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the AS CR, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Israeli Embassy in Prague. It represents a unique opportunity, especially for students and young scientists, to meet highly distinguished international scholars and discuss their ideas and projects directly with the most knowledgeable experts in the fields of biological chemistry, structural biology and material sciences.

The program consists of four sessions focused on the life and death of proteins (structural biology of protein synthesis and protein degradation pathways) and on the use of material science for medicine and biology. Keynote lectures will be complemented by shorter talks by invited speakers and a poster section.

The invited speakers include four current Israeli Nobel prize winners and other extraordinary scientific personalities from the USA, Israel, Germany and the Czech Republic, accompanied by several inspiring young "rising stars."

The registration fee of 500 Czech crowns includes admission to the scientific sessions, congress documentation and refreshments served during coffee breaks. A limited number of applicants will get the opportunity to discuss their projects in one-to-one meetings with distinguished speakers including Nobel laureates and/or join them for a dinner in a Prague restaurant and discuss their ideas with some of the brightest minds on Earth over a glass of famous Czech beer.
