Research Coordinator

The International Clinical Research Center (ICRC) of St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno, Czech Republic is a new-generation research center focusing on the pathogenesis of diseases including finding new methods, technologies and medicaments for effective prevention, early diagnostics and individualized treatment.

As a top Central European research center with more than 300 researchers, new technologies and EU grant support, we focus on research and development mainly in the fields of cardiovascular and neurological diseases. In both areas we partner with world-class research centers and universities.

Starting date: Immediate (negotiable)

Job description:

  • Preparation of documents for qualitative evaluation of research teams of FNUSA-ICRC and control of qualitative requirements of new employees,
  • Interim and ad hoc reporting of the results of scientific research activities within FNUSA-ICRC,
  • Statistical data processing for the chair of the ICRC and International Scientific Advisory Board based on data from databases (Web of Science, OBD),
  • Final control of research and development results based on completed registration sheets within FNUSA-ICRC center,
  • Work with the Informational system of research, development and innovation (IS VaVaI),
  • Administration of OBD database on superuser level,
  • Preparation of research results overviews and statistics for others departments of FNUSA-ICRC (project applications, PR activities).

Prerequisites for successful role performance:

  • We are looking for responsible, careful, well-organized and highly motivated member of our RCO team,
  • University degree,
  • Systematic approach and interest to learn new skills,
  • Knowledge of statistical management,
  • Good level of communication in English language (verbal and written),
  • Experience with work with databases (Web of Science, Scopus, IS VaVaI) is an advantage,
  • Previous experience with research and development area is an advantage,
  • Positive and team-work personality,
  • Czech language speaker is an advantage.
