Carl Sagan had a certain magic: Not only was he a world-renowned scientific mind, but he was also a gifted communicator-capable of fascinating even non-scientific audiences with the mysteries of the universe. We are looking for a research intern who can support our writers to do the same in our field of technology and commerce: hydroponics.
Who are we? We are the global innovation and quality leader in hydroponic nutrients and equipment. The science of hydroponics is the science behind our products, so it is crucial we make it understandable and interesting to the public. If you fit the "Sagan" mold and would like to embark upon a career in popular and commercial science, we invite you to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
You will hold at least a Master's degree in horticulture, biochemistry, or a closely related field, and you will be passionate about writing about science. Ideally, you will be a graduate student studying for a PhD in your field or a postdoc researcher. Other qualifications:

WHAT TO EXPECT
1. We will respond to your application within two weeks.
2. If we think you might be a good fit at our company, we will invite you to the first round of interviews (day, time, and location in Prague, Czech Republic TBD).
3. At this first round of interviews, we will ask you the usual questions (as well as a few unusual ones) and ask you to perform an English reading and writing test.
4. If you make it into our short list of candidates, we will ask you to produce a short research article:
