Grassland Ecosystem Research Station is the departmental research workplace of the Ministry of Agriculture of CR (MACR). With the competence for the whole republic, grassland research is conducted in the sphere of grassland management, biology, ecology, grassland utilization, pasture management and lawn management. The station co-operates on the problems solved with research institutes and universities of similar specialization in this country as well as in foreign countries. The results of its activities are applied in agricultural operations and presented to the workers of universities and agricultural schools in form of scientific publications, final reports, lectures, training, seminars and consultancy. Other tasks are also provided within its competence when asked for by the MACR. |
