Center for Translational Medicine of The International Clinical Research Center (ICRC) of St. Anne's University Hospital in Brno, Czech Republic is now seeking for a highly motivated and skilled Research/Lab Technician to support our researchers in the field of proteomics, and also, to provide general laboratory tasks.
The Proteomics Facility was established in April 2017 as one of the ICRC Core Facilities in order to provide full infrastructure for protein identification, characterization and quantitation using mass spectrometry?based approach. We are now creating our interdisciplinary team, offering a unique opportunity to contribute and help shape the lab.

Job Description:
We are looking for responsible, dedicated and highly motivated Technician possessing hands on experience with bottom-up proteomic workflow. He/She will be able to perform all the sample preparation steps such as protein isolation, separation, protein digestion (in-gel and in-solution), peptide purification and concentration. Suitable candidate will also dominate principles of protein chemistry as well as principles of gel?based and gel-free separation techniques.
At the same time, he/she will join a team of technicians and will support the researchers by helping with the general tasks such as autoclaving, preparing aliquots, preparation of solutions and dilutions, monitoring stocks, maintenance of the laboratory equipment, etc. This is a varied position where proactive approach is very much appreciated.
The applicant should work exactly, independently and with a high degree of autonomy.
