Seminars in Avian and Exotic Pet Medicine fills a unique niche: providing practitioners with a convenient, comprehensive resource to enhance their office practice of veterinary medicine. Each issue includes a comprehensive, current overview of a special topic in avian and exotic pet medicine. Original articles by invited experts address new developments with direct impact on the veterinarian\'s practice. The newly revised format was developed to continue to give the most up-to-date information on medical areas of interest in the form of practical review articles but also incorporates color image-based procedure articles, a book review, a therapeutic review, a clinical diagnostic challenge, and abstracts and news information. There is currently no other periodical that provides such detailed, procedure-oriented information, combining the effectiveness of an atlas with the timeliness of a journal.
