Stem cells - the potential to regenerate the human body

The exciting potential for **therapeutic application** of **stem cell research** to regenerate diseased cells in the body will be explored in the session. The controversial ethical, legal and societal issues will also be examined by a bioethicist and patients’ organisation to highlight the obstacles to full realisation of stem cell research.
