Job description:

We are looking for support in all aspects of biotechnological laboratory work, including molecular biology and protein biochemistry, ranging from cloning of genes for recombinant protein expression, transformation of bacterial, yeast or mammalian cells, cell culture, protein purification and protein analytics.

Responsibilities include the implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures, as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment.

We are organized in teams of three to five persons, supervised and coordinated by experienced scientists in close interaction and permanent consultation. Our team is international, written documents like experimental protocols and records are in English language.

Our Requirements:

• Education as Biological/Medical assistants or Bachelor in Biology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology
• Hands-on experience in molecular biology, especially in cloning of genes for recombinant protein expression and transformation of host cells
• Experience in cell culture, protein purification or protein analytics is a plus
• Sense of responsibility in regard to experimental work, the team and the mission of AbCheck
• Adaptivity to language requirements
