Description: | The Animal Cell Technology (ACT) Group is located within the Faculty of Communications, Engineering and Science and is involved in research into animal cell biotechnology and the use of cultured cells for research with applications in a number of areas of biology. The group is also the main focus of molecular biology research within the university. The area in which the group works is very much "tools based" science and, as a result, ACT collaborates with a number of groups within the University as well as other academics within the UK and Europe. |
