Description: | |
Dairy cattle are main producers of beef meat for consumers in the Czech Republic. Sophisticated hybridisations of these breeds along with unilateral beef breeds breeding can significant improve quaility of slaughtered animals and economics of their production. Goal of the project will be analysis of production traits and selection of microsatelite markers and locuses relative to growth hormone, and their exploitation for assignation of average heterozygosity of genotypes (pure breeds, hybrids) and genetic distance between these genotypes. Both these parameters will be utilized for estimation of heterosive effects and for prediction of crossbred performance. During solution will be checked processes and accuracy of assessment in experimental and practical conditions of beef cattle herds and suckler cows. By virtue of obtained results will be suggested metodology of hybridisation in catle husbandry. |
