Communications in Biometry and Crop Science was established at the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology at the Warsaw Agricultural University - WAU (www.sggw.waw.pl), and 80th anniversary of the Department of Biometry of WAU, which was created by one of the most recognized statisticians of 20th century, Prof. Jerzy Neyman. We would like CBCS to refer to his outstanding achievements in the field of applying mathematical statistics and its applications to agricultural sciences. The aim of CBCS is to publish original peer-reviewed papers, both theoretical and experimental, in crop and biometrical sciences. We accept papers in the following fields: crop science: agronomy, crop plants physiology, plant-soil relationships, plant breeding, crop protection; biometry, regarding the statistical and mathematical methods connected with the above mentioned fields. CBCS is a forum for specialists from crop sciences and for biometricians. Submitted manuscripts are soon reviewed by at least two reviewers, and rapidly published after acceptance.
