Institute of Biology and Diseases of Wildlife Animals

The research activities of the Institute is focused on health issues in populations of wild animals, with a particular focus on animals that are not used for sourcing of raw materials for the production of food of animal origin. Special emphasis is placed on research in the health status of wild birds and wild mammals, with particular emphasis on monitoring of zoonotic parasitic, infectious and non-infectious diseases of animals. Molecular methods in the diagnosis of disease agents listed wildlife are used.
